Another new record for A-shares! As of December 22, 2025, the total turnover of A-shares this year exceeded 405 trillion yuan, marking the first time in history that the annual turnover of A-shares has exceeded 4 trillion yuan. The overall turnover rate of A-shares has also shown significant improvement, with an average turnover rate of nearly 1.74% for the year, setting a new high since 2016. Looking at individual stocks, as many as 19 stocks have a turnover of over 1 trillion yuan this year, with stocks such as Zhongjixuchuang, East Money, and Xinyisheng all having a turnover of over 2 trillion yuan; stocks like Cambricon-U, Ningde Era, and Shenghong Technology have a turnover of over 1.8 trillion yuan for the year.
