German Ministry of Finance: Tax revenue decreased by 1.3% in November.

The German Ministry of Finance stated on Tuesday that tax revenue for both the federal and state governments in Germany decreased by 1.3% in November compared to the same period last year. The report said that total tax revenue for November reached 602 billion euros. From January to November, tax revenue increased by 5.2% compared to the same period in 2024, reaching 7,864.4 billion euros. The largest economy in Europe is facing challenges as its economy has shrunk for the second consecutive year in 2024. It is expected that the economy will remain stagnant this year. The report stated that tax experts predict tax revenue will increase to 9,037.7 billion euros by 2025, a 5.0% increase from the previous year.
