U.S. crude oil futures closed up more than 2.6%

WTI February crude oil futures closed up $1.49, up more than 2.63%, at $58.01 per barrel. Middle Eastern Abu Dhabi Murban crude oil futures rose 1.84% to $63.18 per barrel. NYMEX January natural gas futures closed at $3.9650 per million British thermal units. NYMEX January gasoline futures closed at $1.7422 per gallon, and NYMEX January heating oil futures closed at $2.1581 per gallon.
