The State Administration for Market Regulation has decided to implement pilot reforms for the style and application requirements of the CCC mark on products such as power banks. Moving forward, the mandatory product certification catalog will include mobile power sources, electric bicycles and their safety accessories, as well as gas appliances and their safety accessories. Starting from March 1, 2026, any new products in the pilot program that obtain a CCC certification must include a CCC traceable QR code before they can be manufactured, sold, imported, or used in other business activities. From March 1, 2027, all certified products in the pilot program must also include a CCC traceable QR code before being manufactured, sold, imported, or used in other business activities. For products in the pilot program that have already been certified and are in compliance with the current requirements prior to March 1, 2027, no changes to the marking requirements will be necessary.
