In early trading, European natural gas prices fell slightly, influenced by weak demand and ample supply. The benchmark Netherlands TTF natural gas futures contract slid 0.2% to 28.11 euros per megawatt hour, on track to record a 42% annual decline. According to industry organization European Gas Infrastructure, storage facility fill rates across the EU are at around 67%, below seasonal average levels. However, analysts at DNB stated that European natural gas demand has decreased by 11% year-on-year, while Norway's pipeline natural gas exports are at a high level within the seasonal range.
