Its Huizhou Units 1 and 2 both use the Hualong One technology. The first concrete pouring for the main reactor building of the units took place on December 26, 2019 and October 15, 2020 respectively, marking the start of full construction. The original expected dates for operation were the second half of 2025 and the first half of 2026. The Group recently conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the construction progress of the Huizhou Units 1 and 2 in order to ensure a high-quality start of operation and safe and stable operation post-commissioning. After careful consideration, it has been decided to adjust the construction schedule of the units, with the expected operation dates for Huizhou Units 1 and 2 now being the first half and second half of 2026 respectively. As of the date of this announcement, both Huizhou Units 1 and 2 are in the testing phase.
