According to the Wisdom Financial APP, on December 22, the Hong Kong Stock Exchange released a review of 2025. In 2025, the amount of financing in the new stock market in Hong Kong ranked first globally, with a significant increase in financing compared to the previous year, and the average daily trading volume reached a historic high. The average daily trading volume in the spot market in the first 11 months of 2025 reached HK$230.7 billion, a 43% increase over the same period last year. As of December 19, a total of 106 companies were listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, with a total financing amount of HK$274.6 billion, four of which were among the top ten new stocks globally in 2025. Companies listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange raised US$66 billion through refinancing.
