Zhihu released the 2025 Short Story Influence List, and the adaptation rights for hundreds of short stories have already been sold.

On December 21st, the original high-quality storytelling platform Yanyan Stories under Zhihu released the "2025 Short Story Impact List", selecting a total of 62 outstanding works and 20 outstanding authors. It was introduced that in terms of works, this list further explores narrative breakthroughs in addition to the existing genres such as light-hearted, tragic, sweet, suspenseful, etc. The selected works include "Without Flaws in Death", "I Have a Strange Group", "Soul Whip" and 62 other works. The list also for the first time includes the "Yanyan Three Classics" and award-winning works from the Long-form Creation Marathon of 2025, broadening the scope of influence selection to medium and long-form storytelling and introducing more realistic subject matter creation. Additionally, this year's "Most Valuable for Film and Television" works have added a short drama development branch, with over a hundred works from 2025 Yanyan Stories already having sold the rights for short drama adaptations.
