Dai Wei, President of the Bank of Beijing: Users should beware of the scams of illegal intermediaries when repaying loans.
On December 22, the People's Bank of China held a press conference on the one-time credit repair policy. Regarding the issue of what customers need to pay attention to when repaying their loans to the bank, Beijing Bank President Dai Wei stated that individuals must confirm the amount with the financial institution when repaying the debt in order to avoid underpaying or missing out on the policy. Factors such as loan interest, overdue penalties, and other fees should be taken into consideration to determine the final amount to be repaid. Dai Wei also warned against scams by illegal intermediaries. When repaying loans, if customers encounter temporary financial difficulties, they should proactively contact the lending institution and negotiate solutions based on market principles and legal frameworks. It is important not to trust illegal intermediaries with unclear sources of funding, and to avoid falling for their false advertising, which could lead to financial loss, personal information leakage, or involvement in illegal activities such as loan fraud.
