Large performances are becoming a new engine driving cultural and tourism consumption. It is predicted that the total box office revenue of concerts and music festivals nationwide will exceed 30 billion yuan this year, directly driving other consumption of over 200 billion yuan. In Shaanxi, almost every weekend, there is a concert at the Xi'an Olympic Sports Center. This year, nearly 60% of the audience at local concerts are from other provinces, with many fans coming from afar to attend the music event and also visit places like the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Terracotta Warriors. To provide a better experience for the audience, Xi'an has set up a service chain linking performances, attractions, accommodation, and dining, and has opened multiple "fan special trains." Concerts, music festivals, and other large performances have not only been popular in first-tier and provincial capitals, but have also shown a trend of expanding to second, third, and fourth-tier cities in recent years. Localities are taking advantage of the popularity of these performances to launch a "ticket economy" linkage mechanism, stimulating new vitality in the cultural and tourism market.
