Recently, the Guangdong Compute Network Collaborative Service Platform was officially launched, according to the China Institute of Communications. This platform is a key provincial initiative to implement the "Compute Power Interconnection Action Plan", relying on the China Institute of Communications' compute power interconnection solution, and jointly developed by the Guangzhou Internet Exchange Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and Guangdong Unicom. The platform focuses on four core functions: centralized release of compute power support policies and provide application guidelines, access to the national unified compute power identification system to achieve standardized resource management, building a bridge for supply and demand matching to reduce the cost of using compute power for government and enterprises, and introducing various types of customized compute power services to adapt to multiple industry scenarios. The implementation of this series of functions on the platform marks the transformation of compute power in the Greater Bay Area from "single point layout" to "collaborative interconnection".
