Wang Zhi Zhi selected for the FIBA Hall of Fame

On the 21st of December, the International Basketball Federation announced the inductees for the 2026 Hall of Fame, with Chinese basketball legend Yao Ming topping the list. He becomes the fifth Chinese basketball player to be inducted into the FIBA Hall of Fame, following Mu Zuo Yun, Zheng Haixia, Yao Ming, and Miao Lijie. December 21st is World Basketball Day, and FIBA chose to announce the list on this day, with a total of 7 players and 1 coach being inducted. The induction ceremony will take place in Berlin, Germany on April 21st next year.
