McDonald's achieves complete coverage of Chinese provincial level administrative regions.

After the simultaneous opening of three McDonald's stores in Ningxia on December 20, the first McDonald's store in Qinghai province opened in Xining on the afternoon of December 21. This is also the largest standalone "Drive-Thru" store in the northwest region of China. With this, McDonald's has achieved full coverage in China's provincial-level administrative regions. It is understood that as of November 2025, mainland China has more than 7500 McDonald's restaurants, with a staff of over 200,000, serving over 1.3 billion customers in 2024.
