Commencement of Phase I project of Hainan Agricultural Dual Carbon Cycle Demonstration Industrial Park.

Recently, the first phase of the Agriculture Carbon Cycle Demonstration Industrial Park in Hainan Province officially started construction in Tian'an Township, Dongfang City. The project is based on a diversified agro-ecosystem with a focus on four major characteristic industry chains: Tiger Milk Ganoderma, edible fungi, black water fly, and plant shrimp astaxanthin. By establishing an innovative model of "zero carbon energy + three-dimensional circular agriculture", the project aims to provide replicable and scalable practical paradigms. It is reported that the project covers a total area of approximately 418 acres, with a total investment of 770 million yuan. The main construction content includes Tiger Milk Ganoderma spawn breeding, edible fungi constant control clean workshop, 1 million egg chicken industry park, black water fly farming processing center, comprehensive energy system, and digital management platform. Its outstanding feature is the establishment of a fully closed-loop system, with the utilization rate of waste resources expected to exceed 95%, achieving unity of ecological and economic benefits while reducing costs and increasing efficiency.
