Changan Automobile Company welcomes over 200 institutional research visits.

Changan Automobile conducted research with 214 institutions this week because the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced on December 15 that it has issued the first batch of conditional Level 3 autonomous driving vehicle product access permits in China. Two pure electric cars from Jihoo Automobile and Changan Automobile obtained qualifications and will conduct on-road pilot projects in designated areas in Beijing and Chongqing. The approved model for Changan Automobile is the Deep Blue SL03. #Changan Automobile opens the era of Level 3 autonomous driving# Regarding the safety of Level 3 autonomous driving, Changan Automobile stated that the approved model is equipped with industry-leading 4D imaging millimeter-wave radar, which can replace lidar within the ODC range, and has the best performance in 17 extreme scenario categories. Changan Automobile also discussed the follow-up plans for the commercialization of Level 3 autonomous driving, and the company expects to conduct on-road pilot applications with the user Changan Carlink Technology in the first quarter of 2026. After the official release and implementation of relevant national regulations and policies, Changan Automobile will start product access and market deployment for C-end users.
