The Macao Special Administrative Region Government held a flag-raising ceremony and reception on the 20th to celebrate the 26th anniversary of Macao's return to the motherland. The reception to celebrate the 26th anniversary of the establishment of the Macao Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China was held at 9:30 a.m. at the Complex of China and Portuguese-speaking Countries Commercial and Trade Cooperation Service Platform. During his speech, the Chief Executive of the Special Administrative Region, Ho Iat Seng, stated that Macao will follow President Xi Jinping's important instructions, actively engage with the national development strategy, formulate and implement the "Three-Five" plan for the Macao Special Administrative Region, and achieve better development in the new journey of serving the construction of a powerful homeland and the rejuvenation of the nation.
