China Iron and Steel Association's Jiang Wei: Suggests that the inventory levels of steel companies align with those of 2021.

On December 20th, at the 2026 iron and steel market outlook and "My Steel" annual meeting, Jiang Wei, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President of the China Iron and Steel Industry Association, stated that iron and steel inventory control should align with the inventory level of 2021. He said that the industry situation was improving in 2021, and as long as companies can control inventory at the same level as that year, he believes the entire industry will experience a positive trend.
