Southern Power Grid: The power supply to Macao from mainland China exceeds 81 billion kilowatt-hours.

According to information from the Southern Power Grid, as of December 19th, the total amount of electricity supplied by the mainland to Macau has reached 813.4 billion kilowatt-hours. Among them, the amount of electricity supplied from January to November of 2025 reached 50.81 billion kilowatt-hours, and it is estimated to reach 53.5 billion kilowatt-hours for the whole year. The annual amount of electricity supplied is 27.5 times that of 1999 and 212.9 times that of the early stage of the Guangdong-Macao power connection in 1984. Currently, about 90% of Macau's total electricity consumption is supplied by the Southern Power Grid Company.
