On December 19th, the Henan Provincial Government Office issued the "Several Policy Measures to Support the High-Quality Development of the Micro Drama Industry in Henan Province", proposing 15 measures in terms of supporting content creation and dissemination, improving and enhancing the industrial chain, etc., to promote the high-quality development of the micro drama industry in Henan, and to create a nationally influential and competitive micro drama industry hub. The "Measures" mentions rewarding excellent script writing. Relying on the Literary Federation and publishing houses, it aims to stimulate the enthusiasm of writers to participate in the creation of micro dramas, establish a library of high-quality micro drama scripts, and provide subsidies for a certain number of micro drama works that are in the process of creation or about to enter the substantive creation stage each year. Establish a reserve of excellent web novels in Henan Province, build a platform for the incubation of Central Plains network literature IP rights and adaptation rights, promote the professional and systemic development of online literature. For outstanding scripts selected in the China Television Administration's Internet Audiovisual Program Excellent Creation and Dissemination Project, Original Internet Audiovisual Program Solicitation and Exhibition, Internet Audiovisual Program Annual Promotion, and the "Micro Drama+" Action Plan recommended scripts, the maximum reward for script copyright holders shall not exceed 300,000 yuan, and each script will only be accepted for application by one unit.
