The People's Bank of China, National Development and Reform Commission, and China Banking Regulatory Commission have issued the "Regulations on RMB Cash Receipt and Payment and Services".

In order to effectively maintain the legal status of the renminbi as the currency, prevent and rectify the refusal of renminbi cash, meet the diverse payment service needs of the society, and construct a convenient circulation environment for cash under the common development of multiple payment methods, the People's Bank of China, together with the National Development and Reform Commission and the Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission, has formulated the "Regulations on the Receipt and Payment of Renminbi Cash and Services", which are hereby announced.
