This morning, the key control project of the Shanghai-Chongqing-Chengdu High-speed Railway, the Tongtai Yangtai Bridge, successfully connected to the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal Bridge, laying a crucial foundation for the Shanghai-Chongqing-Chengdu High-speed Railway to open on schedule. The Tongtai Yangtai Bridge has a total length of approximately 172.9 kilometers, making it the world's longest high-speed railway bridge currently under construction.
