"Eastern Airlines receives and puts into operation the world's first C919 flight simulator."

Today, the world's first domestically-made large aircraft C919 flight simulator, delivered to the airline, was officially put into use at the Eastern Airlines R&D Center, marking a key step in Eastern Airlines' construction of operational support capabilities for domestically made large aircraft. As of December 2025, the Eastern Airlines C919 fleet has accumulated over 40,000 hours of safe flight and has carried over 2.45 million passengers.
