This morning, after 6 years of construction, the No. 6 unit of the Yijiang Hydropower Station on the Jinsha River in Panzhihua, Sichuan was connected to the grid. All 6 units are in full production, with a total installed capacity of 390,000 kilowatts. With the completion and operation of the Yijiang Hydropower Station in the main urban area of Panzhihua, Sichuan's hydropower installed capacity has exceeded 100 million kilowatts, becoming the first province in the country to have a hydropower installed capacity of over 100 million kilowatts.
