Through recommendations from netizens, extraction of big data from language corpora, and expert evaluations, the word of the year for 2025 in China is "resilience," and the domestic word of the year is "deep exploration." This year marks the 20th anniversary of the "Chinese Language Inventory" event, which encourages people to use language to record life and describe changes in society from the perspective of China. The organizers stated that in the future, "Chinese Language Inventory" will continue to use Chinese as a medium to inject the power of language into promoting cultural heritage and mutual learning of civilizations.
