Oli re-elected as chairman of the Nepal Communist Party.

The 11th National Congress of the Communist Party of Nepal concluded on the 18th. The conference elected Khadga Prasad Sharma Oli as the party's chairman. Oli defeated the former vice chairman of the party, Ishwar Pokharel, to be elected as chairman. This is Oli's third term as the party's chairman. The conference also elected a Central Committee composed of 301 members, with a term of 4 years.
