Trump gives the federal government two additional days off, but the New York Stock Exchange announces that stock market trading will continue as usual around Christmas.
After President Trump signed an executive order declaring the federal government closed on December 24th and 26th, the New York Stock Exchange announced that it will not change the trading hours around Christmas. The NYSE had previously moved up the closing time on December 24th to 1 p.m. The exchange stated on its website that December 26th will be a normal full trading day.
