The EU sanctions 41 ships in Russia's "shadow fleet", and the UK adds 24 more individuals to its list of sanctions against Russia.

On Thursday, the European Union imposed sanctions on an additional 41 ships in the "shadow fleet" of Russia, bringing the total number of ships on the list to nearly 600. The European Council stated that these ships are now prohibited from entering EU ports and are no longer able to receive a range of maritime-related services. In addition, the UK government announced on Thursday that as part of sanctions against Russia, it has imposed sanctions on 24 entities and individuals, including Russian oil companies Tatneft and Russneft.
