Morgan Stanley's Head of Technology Industry Research in Asia, Kim Yong-chan, stated that physical intelligence is becoming a core component of a broader artificial intelligence theme. It is expected that by 2050, the market size of humanoid robots will reach $5 trillion, with deployments of 1 billion units, equivalent to approximately 1 humanoid robot for every 10 people. It is also expected that the adoption path will not be linear, with relatively slow progress before 2035, and accelerating in the late 2030s.
