Sanan Optoelectronics: Plans to acquire equity worth $239 million and elect independent directors.
Sanan Optoelectronics announced that the company's second extraordinary general meeting of shareholders in 2025 will be held on December 26, to deliberate on two proposals. The first is the joint overseas investment by Inari, where they will acquire 100% equity of Lumileds Holding B.V. for 2.39 billion US dollars in cash, and the two parties will establish a joint venture company in Hong Kong with a total investment of 280 million US dollars, with Sanan holding 74.5% indirectly after the completion of the transaction. The second proposal is the election of Lin Zhiyang, Xiao Hong, and Li Jinchai as independent directors of the eleventh board of directors, as the current three independent directors will be leaving upon the expiry of their term.
