According to the report by the Guizhou Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision on the 18th, with the approval of the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee, the Guizhou Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision has initiated a case investigation into the serious disciplinary and legal issues of He Zhixu, former Party Secretary of Guizhou Medical University and former Party Secretary of the Guizhou Provincial Natural Products Research Center. Investigation shows that He Zhixu has lost faith in his ideals, betrayed his original intentions and mission, resisted organizational investigation; disregarded the spirit of the Central Eight-point Regulation, accepted gifts and money that may affect the fair execution of official duties and accepted property that clearly exceeds normal courtesy, and had others pay expenses that should have been paid by himself; violated organizational principles, did not truthfully report personal matters, used his authority to seek personal gains for others and accepted money; breached the bottom line of integrity, engaged in profit-making activities in violation of regulations, took part-time jobs for remuneration, infringed on national and collective interests in the purchase of housing; prostituted his public power for personal gain, engaged in power-money transactions, used his position to seek benefits for others in project bidding, job promotion and adjustment, and accepted a substantial amount of illegal money. He Zhixu seriously violated the Party's political discipline, organizational discipline, and integrity discipline, committed serious violations of laws and regulations, and is suspected of bribery. Moreover, He did not show restraint or stop after the 18th National Congress of the Party, with serious nature and harmful consequences, and should be seriously dealt with. In accordance with relevant provisions of the "Disciplinary Regulations of the Communist Party of China," the "Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China," and the "Administrative Sanctions Law for Public Officials in the People's Republic of China," the Standing Committee of the Guizhou Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision conducted research and reported to the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee for approval. It was decided to expel He Zhixu from the Party, to dismiss him from public office, to revoke his qualification as a delegate to the 13th Guizhou Province People's Congress, to confiscate his ill-gotten gains from disciplinary and legal violations, and to refer his suspected criminal activities to the judicial organs for investigation and prosecution along with the seized assets.
