The US ITC has officially initiated a 337 investigation into small microwave-exhaust fan combinations, with companies such as Midea Group and Haier Group listed as defendants.

On December 17, the United States International Trade Commission voted to initiate a Section 337 investigation into specific small microwave-exhaust hood combinations. Defendants listed in the investigation include Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. of South Korea, LG Electronics USA, Inc. of the United States, Midea Group Co., Ltd. of China, Midea America Corporation of the United States, Haier Group of Shandong, China, and Haier US Appliance Solutions, Inc. of the United States.
