Shanghai Electric and China Energy Construction Corp have reached a consensus on deepening cooperation in new areas such as integrated wind-solar storage and hydrogen technology.
On December 17th, Wu Lei, the Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Shanghai Electric Group, visited China Energy Construction Group Limited and held talks with the Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China Energy Construction Group, Ni Zhen. Both sides exchanged views on the layout of the "15th Five-Year Plan", energy transformation, synergy of the industrial chain, and the exploration of overseas markets. During the meeting, both parties reached consensus on strengthening strategic coordination and resource integration, deepening cooperation in new areas such as the construction of a new type of power system, smart grid, new energy storage system, and integrated wind-solar-hydrogen energy storage. They also exchanged ideas on promoting major national research and development projects, strengthening supply chain cooperation, and establishing overseas industrial alliances. Both sides expressed their intention to fully leverage their respective advantages in equipment manufacturing and engineering contracting, co-developing international markets through collaboration, increasing international market share, and jointly creating more national-level quality demonstration projects to make greater contributions to the construction of a clean, low-carbon, safe, and efficient new energy system in China.
