American oil giants are unwilling to return to Venezuela.

The Trump administration is currently asking American oil companies whether they would be interested in returning to Venezuela once President Maduro steps down. So far, the response has been a flat "no". With the current market oversupply and oil prices at near five-year lows, industry officials and analysts are saying that the current low oil prices are not enough to lure companies into risking investing huge amounts of money into the now dilapidated Venezuelan oil facilities.
