Oracle confirms that Blue Owl is not involved in the Michigan data center project, emphasizing that negotiations are progressing smoothly.

Oracle Corporation stated that the equity transaction for the data center project in Michigan is still "progressing as planned", excluding Blue Owl Capital. The latter has recently helped finance large data center projects for companies such as Oracle and Meta. In response to the report by the Financial Times, Oracle pointed out that the development partner for the project, Related Digital, chose the "best equity partner" from a group of competitive alternatives, which is not Blue Owl. The report cited sources saying that Blue Owl will not support a $10 billion transaction for this data center project.
