On December 17th, local time, South African President Ramaphosa hosted a special summit of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) heads of state and government through online means. The meeting focused on reviewing the assessment report on the political and security situation in Madagascar submitted by the chairperson of the SADC Organ on Politics, Defence, and Security Mechanism.
