The German Federal Parliament approved around 500 billion euros in defense procurement spending.

On the 17th local time, the German Ministry of Defense confirmed that the Budget Committee of the German Bundestag has approved a total military procurement expenditure of approximately 50 billion euros. It is reported that out of the approximately 30 approved procurement projects, the largest expenditure is for military uniforms and personal equipment, with related costs exceeding 20 billion euros. In addition, Germany also plans to order an additional 200 "Puma" infantry fighting vehicles, amounting to approximately 4 billion euros, and procure missiles for the new-generation air defense system "Arrow-3". The above amounts include planned expenditures for the coming years. It is reported that this procurement will be the largest single procurement decision in the history of the German Federal Armed Forces. Including this procurement, the total amount of various military supplies ordered by the German Federal Armed Forces this year will be close to 100 billion euros.
