Since the beginning of this year, Yunnan Province has transported more than 70.68 million tons of goods by railway.

Recently, it was learned from China Railway Kunming Group Co., Ltd. that since the beginning of this year, Yunnan railway has transported more than 70.68 million tons of goods, providing effective transport support for the economic and social development. To improve railway transportation services, the railway department relies on more than 5,000 kilometers of railway network within the province and modern railway resources such as the Shanghai-Kunming, Chengdu-Kunming, Nanning-Kunming mainline channels, focusing on Yunnan's resources, location, industrial characteristics, and market demand for key cargo categories. Strengthening horizontal coordination with various railway bureau groups and vertical coordination with prefectures and cities, additional fixed trains have been added along the central, eastern, coastal, and northern routes to further promote economic and trade exchanges and logistics cooperation between Yunnan and surrounding regions. In terms of key transportation, this year has seen an average daily loading of 144 train cars of electric coal, with a completion rate of 107.8% for medium and long-term coal contract shipments totaling 2.685 million tons and a 1.5% year-on-year growth in the transportation of key goods amounting to 15.811 million tons.
