The General Office of the Chongqing Municipal People's Government issued the "Action Plan for Promoting 'AI Plus' in Chongqing", proposing to adhere to forward-looking planning, overall layout, application traction, open sharing, and security control. It fully leverages Chongqing's advantages in data resources enrichment, solid computing power support, rich application scenarios, and complete industrial system to promote the deep integration of AI technology innovation, industrial innovation, and modernization governance of mega-cities. By developing new productive forces in a targeted manner, modernizing and empowering the construction of the new Chongqing. By 2026, significant results will be achieved in the mutual empowerment of AI and Digital Chongqing, forming a number of comprehensive AI empowerment application scenarios with a penetration rate of new generation smart terminals and smart bodies exceeding 70%. By 2027, AI will be widely and deeply integrated into the six key areas of technology, industry, governance, livelihood, consumption, and opening up, with a penetration rate of new generation smart terminals and smart bodies exceeding 80%, gradually making the intelligent economy an important growth pole for Chongqing's economic development.
