Old and collapsed power pole caused wildfire in Texas, leading to lawsuit against power company.

On December 16th, local time, Ken Paxton, the Attorney General of Texas, filed a lawsuit against Southwest Public Service Company, accusing it of negligence in maintaining aging power poles. The collapsing power poles led to the largest wildfire in the state's history, resulting in over 1 billion dollars in damages.
