Joint Press Release of the Meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan

At the invitation of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Safadi, Wang Yi, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China, visited Jordan from December 14th to 15th, 2025. Both sides emphasized that the leaders of the two countries are willing to strengthen cooperation to actively benefit the friendly peoples of both countries. Both sides appreciated the level of cooperation in various fields between the two countries and agreed to continue dialogue, coordination, and expansion of cooperation to achieve the development policy goals of both countries. They discussed deepening cooperation in traditional areas such as economy and trade, infrastructure, energy, defense, transportation, and justice, as well as exploring the potential for cooperation in new areas such as technology innovation, communication technology, digital economy, artificial intelligence, and green energy. They also discussed expanding cooperation and exchanges in areas such as culture, tourism, news, education, student exchanges, and think tanks. Both sides also explored measures to facilitate the travel of people between the two countries. The Jordanian side reiterated its commitment to the One China policy, stressing that the government of the People's Republic of China is the sole legal government representing all of China, and that Taiwan is an inseparable part of Chinese territory. Both sides emphasized the importance of conducting cultural and arts exchanges for cultural communication and strengthening cooperation between legislative bodies.
