The APEC Finance Ministers' Meeting will be held in Hong Kong in October next year for the first time.

According to Wen Wei Po, China will host the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) in 2026. The central government announced yesterday that the APEC Finance Ministers' Meeting in 2026 will be held in Hong Kong next October. Chief Executive Carrie Lam said that the Hong Kong government will spare no effort in preparing for the meeting and will fully support the successful hosting of the 2026 APEC meeting by the country.
