Sichuan's "15th Five-Year Plan" proposal: Strengthening support for childbirth and childcare services, improving and implementing policies and incentives for childbirth support.

On December 10th, the Communist Party of Sichuan Province issued a proposal on formulating the 15th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development of Sichuan Province. It proposes to promote high-quality population development, improve a population service system that covers all groups and the entire life cycle, comprehensively enhance the overall quality of the population, and build an age-friendly society. It also suggests strengthening support for childbirth and child-rearing services, improving and implementing policies and incentive measures for childbirth support, accelerating the construction of a universal childcare service system, and effectively reducing the cost of family childbirth and child-rearing education.
