On December 10th, the Communist Party of Sichuan Province issued a proposal on formulating the Fifteenth Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development of Sichuan Province. It was suggested to build a strategic highland for opening up to the west and a new base for participating in international competition. Uphold the strategy of "expanding to the west, advancing to the south, connecting to the east, and integrating to the north", deeply implement actions for opening up to the outside world, and accelerate the construction of a new pattern of comprehensive and multi-level opening up. Coordinate the construction of open channels, platforms, and hubs, promote the smooth passage of the new land and sea route of the western corridor, enhance the operation efficiency of international trains and Yangtze River trains, and improve the hub system of the China-Europe Railway. Support Chengdu in building a comprehensive gateway composite international aviation hub. Deepen the construction of the Sichuan hub for international road transport. Collaborate in building the navigation center for the upper reaches of the Yangtze River.
