Sichuan's "15th Five-Year Plan" proposal: Fully implement the "AI+" action, orderly promote the development and deployment application of AI large models.

On December 10, the Sichuan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China issued a proposal to formulate the 15th Five-Year Plan for the National Economy and Social Development of Sichuan Province. It was suggested to accelerate the construction of a digitally strong province called "Digital Sichuan." They proposed to fully implement the "Artificial Intelligence+" action, orderly promote the development and deployment of large artificial intelligence models, strengthen the combination of artificial intelligence with industrial development, cultural construction, livelihood security, and social governance, seize high grounds in the application of artificial intelligence industries, and empower various industries comprehensively. They also proposed to support the construction of a national innovation and application leading zone for artificial intelligence, promote artificial intelligence education throughout all stages and general education throughout society, accelerate the construction of a smart government, promote deep integration between the real economy and the digital economy, implement innovative development projects for industrial internet, build provincial digital economic industrial parks, vigorously cultivate innovative digital economic enterprises, create internationally competitive digital industry clusters, and establish a national digital economic innovation development pilot zone. They also proposed to comprehensively activate data elements, accelerate public data registration and authorization operations, create regional data trading venues and industry-specific data trading platforms, and strengthen data security governance and protection.
