The Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea held its thirteenth expanded plenary meeting.

The 13th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea was held on December 9. The meeting was chaired by Kim Jong Un, the General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and Chairman of the State Affairs Commission. The meeting approved 5 agendas, including the summary of the implementation of the Party and state policies for 2025, the work of the Central Inspection Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and the main issues related to the preparation for the 9th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea, and discussed relevant topics.
