International Atomic Energy Agency Director General: Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant loses external electricity supply

The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Grossi, announced in a statement that the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant lost external power supply again in the early hours of the day. This is the eleventh power outage event at the plant since the conflict broke out. Although the plant emergency restored connection to the 330 kV backup transmission line half an hour later, the critical 750 kV main transmission line remains disconnected. Currently, the plant relies on emergency systems to maintain basic safety functions.
