Beijing Internet Information Office strictly punishes a group of live-streaming accounts involved in the problem of giving rewards.
On the 6th, the journalist learned from the Beijing Internet Information Office that recently, the Beijing Internet Information Office has solidly promoted the special action "Clear and Clean: Rectifying the Chaos of Online Live Streaming Donations." It has targeted four problems: obscenity in group live broadcasts enticing donations, false personas deceiving donations, inducing minors to donate, and stimulating users to donate irrationally, and has supervised local websites and platforms to conduct concentrated rectification. Some typical cases reported by the Beijing Internet Information Office show that in terms of obscenity in group live broadcasts enticing donations, accounts such as "xgnh," "YC - Fortune into Treasure," and "Chasing the Dream of June Monthly Personal Assessment Competition" use vulgar gameplay such as picking concubines by flipping cards, touching people with masks on, and hitting the soles of feet to induce users to donate. The relevant accounts have been permanently banned or had their live streaming permissions revoked indefinitely according to law. In terms of false personas deceiving donations, accounts such as "Weimeng Shuo", "Single Yuanyuan", and "Jiangshang Yue" create false personas such as "poor households" and "elite returnees," deceiving users to interact and donate. The relevant accounts have been banned or had their live streaming permissions revoked indefinitely according to law. In terms of inducing minors to donate, accounts such as "Yiduoduo" disguise themselves as minors for live broadcasting and guide users to donate; accounts such as "Lianlian1" and "Zhenzhen1" knowingly allow underage users to donate and even encourage them. The relevant accounts have been subject to comprehensive restrictions or had their live streaming permissions revoked indefinitely according to law. In terms of stimulating users to donate irrationally, live platforms such as "** Value Ranking" and "Gift ** Ranking" have rankings based solely on recharge donations, causing irrational donation behavior. The Internet Information Department has lawfully interviewed the relevant live platforms, requiring them to remove illegal rankings, adjust ranking rules, and regulate gaming features. The relevant person in charge of the Beijing Internet Information Office stated that the next step will be to continue to deepen the special governance, supervise local websites and platforms to fulfill their responsibilities, improve management systems and live streaming donation rules, and build a good online live streaming ecosystem together.
