The deal for this aviation structure giant is set to be suspended on December 8th, but the completion of the transaction may take longer as it still needs to meet certain conditions. Boeing stated on Wednesday that they hope to finalize the merger with their largest supplier by the end of the year. Spirit AeroSystems declined to comment on Friday. A spokesperson for Boeing stated on Friday, "Our team will continue to work hard to meet the conditions for completing the transaction."
