The market rate has decreased across the board, with the custody fees for over 500 ETFs hitting record lows within the year.
The reduction of public offering fund fees has entered a period of intensive implementation. On December 5th, Jiashi Fund announced that it has decided to reduce the custody fee of Jiashi CSI Subdivisionalized Chemical Industry Theme ETF and Jiashi CSI Subdivisionalized Chemical Industry Theme ETF launching connection A from 0.10% to 0.05% starting from December 5th. This is not an isolated case. Since the beginning of this year, the "bottoming style" reduction of ETF custody fees has become a prominent feature in the industry. At the beginning of the new year, there were 1286 ETFs with a minimum custody fee of 0.05%, accounting for 29.42% of the total number of ETFs in the market; as of December 5th, this number has increased to 1793, with an increase of 507. In terms of product types, the newly added ETFs with a minimum custody fee cover a wide range of categories such as broad-based, industry themes, and cross-border, including popular indices such as the Growth Enterprise Board Artificial Intelligence and the CSI A500 ETFs.
