Microsoft approves CEO Nadella's $96.5 million compensation package.

Microsoft shareholders on Friday approved the board's proposed executive compensation package, which includes a salary increase for CEO Satya Nadella to $96.5 million, up from $79.1 million last year. Most of Nadella's compensation will be in the form of stock awards, with a base salary of $2.5 million. Shareholders also voted to approve Walmart CFO John David Rainey as a member of the company's board of directors.
